How to know it’s really us.
ABusyBee.me is a recruiting agency that places people in full-time, contract and temporary roles with real employers. Recruiting scams are common, so here is exactly how we contact candidates, and what we will never ask you for.
We will never
- Charge you a fee to apply, be matched, interview or be hired. Employers pay us; candidates never do.
- Ask for crypto, gift cards, wire transfers or a “deposit”, for any reason.
- Sell you training, equipment or a starter kit, or send you a check to deposit and pass on.
- Offer online “task” jobs: rating products, “optimizing data”, boosting apps or completing orders for commission.
- Ask for your bank login, passwords or one-time codes.
- Move you to an anonymous chat app to “finish onboarding” with someone who won’t give a name.
How we actually contact you
- Our emails only come from addresses ending in @abusybee.me, such as [email protected] and [email protected]. Not Gmail, not lookalike spellings.
- We may call, text or message you after you apply or reply to us. A real ABusyBee recruiter gives you their name and can point you to the role on this website.
- Every role we recruit for is listed on our open positions page with its location, pay, schedule and job type.
- Our only official profiles are facebook.com/abusybee.me, instagram.com/abusybee.me and linkedin.com/company/abusybee-me.
Your personal details
To apply, we only need what’s on our application form: your contact details, experience and the kind of work you want. We don’t need your Social Security number or bank details to apply or interview. Tax and payment paperwork happens only after you accept an offer, through the employer’s official onboarding.
A note on trucking lease-to-own programs
Some carriers’ lease-to-own programs require a down payment on the truck. That payment is part of a written lease agreement between you and the carrier, and you review the contract before signing anything. It is never paid to ABusyBee.me. Company drivers and owner operators with their own truck pay nothing.
Got a message that doesn’t feel right? Don’t pay anything and don’t share personal details. Forward it to [email protected] and we’ll tell you whether it came from us. You can also report job scams to the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov.
